It's back!! After the amazing success of CCPS students at the NSW State Paper Plane Challenge in 2018, we are now gearing up for our 4th school challenge!
There are two categories: Furthest distance and Longest Airtime.
Our competition is open to all students in Years 2 - 6. You must be able to throw your paper plane at least 15 metres or keep it in the air for at least 5 seconds for Years 3 and 4, and 18 metres or 6 seconds for Years 5 and 6.
We will provide paper. You must fold your plane on the spot and will be given 2 throws each.
Winners from the school challenge who meet the criteria will have the opportunity to compete in the 2019 STANSW Young Scientist Paper Plane State Championship at the University of Sydney on 31st August 2019.
